Lauren Howard
Junior PublicistAn Air Force brat, Lauren Howard learned to be both resilient and adaptable from a young age. Denver serves as the tenth city she’s lived in during her 22 years of life. A recent graduate of the University of Oregon, it’s guaranteed you’ll hear her yell “Go Ducks!” countless times during football season.
At age 16, Lauren became the first Miss California to be crowned with naturally curly hair. During her year of reign, she spoke on panels and gave interviews advocating for quality minority media representation.
Her passion for equal representation didn’t end here; in 2021, she was one of the select college students chosen nationwide as part of a prestigious Amazon Prime-funded study examining diversity and representation in blockbuster films.
Lauren’s drive and dedication to representation continued throughout college as she coordinated social media efforts for If/Then, a philanthropic initiative aimed at closing the gender gap in STEM and empowering female STEM role models.
Lauren recently joined Prim as a junior publicist. Here, she assists with creating pitches, curating media lists, and securing press coverage for the clients on her roster.
In her free time, you can find Lauren binge-watching Bravo, checking her horoscope (she’s a Capricorn), or raiding local thrift markets for the hottest styles.
