Sara Waldman

From the red carpets and bright lights of Las Vegas to traveling across the country at a speedy 35-mph providing aerial coverage for our nation’s top sporting events, to hosting national media during a World Series run, Sara has done it all during her 20 years in communications. She’s led strategic communications for global and national brands both on the agency and corporate side, and has experience spanning industries, including travel/tourism, food and beverage, professional sports, automotive, nonprofits, and more.

Sara grew up on the sandy beaches of South Florida and earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida (Go Gators!). After graduating, she spent several years in Las Vegas working with brands including Cirque du Soleil (who dubbed her the “pitching queen” after back-to-back features in Instyle Magazine and Fast Company), the LA-based Innovative Dining Group, Blue Man Group, and more. Red carpet events were a frequent occurrence for her restaurant, nightlife and film festival clients.

While serving as the PR & Marketing Manager for the Pompano Beach-based Goodyear Blimp, Sara secured broadcasting opportunities for the airship to provide aerial coverage for our nation’s favorite sporting events, including the 2010 Winter Olympics. She served as the blimp’s chief blogger launching the organization into the social media space, and worked with The Today Show, Ellen and more.

Sara directed communications and social media for an action sports production company based in Salt Lake City, Utah, working with brands including The North Face and Subaru, on elevating the sports of big mountain freeskiing and snowboarding; and spent nine years with Fortune 500’s Larry H. Miller Dealerships, one of the largest dealership group’s in the country, heading up internal and external communications, developing robust cause marketing programs and community partnerships in seven markets, and honing her crisis communications skills.

Most recently, Sara directed the corporate communications for the MLB National League Champion Arizona Diamondbacks, with a focus on the fan experience at the ballpark – promoting the food and beverage options, merchandise, promotional weekends, player community appearances, special events and more.

In her free time, Sara enjoys hiking, dining out and adventuring with her rescue dog, Zoe.
