The Role
This Denver-based internship at Prim + Co is perfect for candidates who have a basic understanding of social media and are eager to accelerate their careers in social media marketing. You’ll immerse yourself in the fast-paced world of social media, gaining valuable experience in creative writing, social strategy, influencer relations, and content development while collaborating with our social team, clients, and influencers.
This exciting opportunity requires dedication, a passion for hospitality and lifestyle trends, and an ability to stay current with media and social trends. Designed to be both flexible and enriching, this internship is unpaid but offers school credit if applicable.
Duties and Responsibilities
Social Media
- Learn and gain a basic understanding of Sprout Social for scheduling and posting
- Daily engagement for social accounts (answering DMs, re-sharing content, and responding to comments)
- Draft weekly content designs in Canva
- Provide administrative assistance for influencer relations including building influencer lists, drafting pitches, and conducting outreach
- Assist with content shoots, as needed
- Ability to perform other tasks or projects assigned by the manager or account team members
Professional Growth
- Learn time management tips + tricks
- Engage with industry leaders and an award-winning agency
- Learn to collaborate and network with teams/professional individuals
- Build your portfolio and resume
- Perfect your communication skills (e.g., industry emails and phone etiquette)
- Get hands-on experience in project management using Asana
Experience
- College student with a concentration in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Journalism or similar study
- Previous intern experience is beneficial but not required
- Experience with Canva and/or graphic design
Requirements
- Proficiency in computer programs
- Microsoft Word and Excel
- Box
- Self-starter, ability to work independently in a virtual environment if applicable
- Strong written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Social media knowledge
- Must be able to commit to a weekly schedule (10-12 hours a week)
