Around Town: Beat The Winter Blues This February

For many Denverites, January is a time for diets, cleanses and upping the exercise game. Come February, it’s easy to become burned out, falling into the dreaded mid-winter slump. We’re here to remind you that there are still plenty of fun things to do during the colder months that don’t require a trip up I-70. Check out some of our favorite happenings around the city to beat those winter blues!

Milk & Honey Bar + Kitchen Launches New Brunch Menu

If you haven’t been to Milk & Honey Bar + Kitchen’s brunch yet, then it is time that you upped your weekend game. The Larimer Square hotspot has introduced a new brunch menu that shakes things up with sections designed for group sharing or the independent eater. We’re in love with the half-pound breakfast burger and banana bread French toast. Wash everything down with a Deep Eddie bloody Mary to top off the brunch experience. Brunch is available on Saturdays and Sundays.

Denver Restaurant Week

For all of the foodies who want to try some of the best restaurants in the Denver and Boulder areas at a fraction of the cost, Denver Restaurant Week is for you. It runs from February 24th – March 5th and includes special prix fixe menus ranging from $25 – $45. Hundreds of restaurants are participating, including Spuntino, Milk & Honey Bar + Kitchen and Wild Standard.

CycleBar Southwest Plaza’s 10-10-10

For those who haven’t given up on fitness by February, CycleBar Southwest Plaza is kicking the month off with a 10-10-10 Challenge. When you buy ten rides and ride ten times, they’ll give you 10 FREE RIDES! It’s as simple as that. The one disclaimer? There is a limited time to use your rides. You better get pedaling!

Clementine’s Salon Opens at Stanley Marketplace

Stanley Marketplace’s newest tenant is guaranteed to beautify the trendy new hotspot. With services like keratin lash lifts (the only spot in Colorado that offers the service), hydrafacials and balayage, it’s the ideal location to get a little winter beauty TLC. After your service, take advantage of one of the salon’s selfie stations to share the beautiful results with your followers.
