Committed to the Cause

Denverites can paint the town pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Two Prim Communications clients are doing what they can to raise funds for breast cancer research, support, and therapy. Here are a couple of local spots that encourage us all to “think pink.”

Wazee Supper Club

This historic Denver favorite is offering a “Pink Ribbon Pizza” to contribute funds to the Colorado chapter of Casting for Recovery – a program that combines breast cancer education and peer support with the therapeutic sport of fly fishing. The pizza will have a beet-infused crust (turning it pink in color), topped with a garlic cream sauce, goat cheese, beets, mozzarella, artichoke hearts, and a light balsamic drizzle. Wazee will donate $1 for every small pizza, $1.50 for every medium pizza and $2 for every large pizza purchased to Casting for Recovery.

Clementine’s Salon

Clementine’s in The Denver Highlands is offering a special promotion to contribute funds to breast cancer research. For every Sara Happ peony, grapefruit or passion fruit sugar scrub purchased during the month of October, Clementine’s will donate $5 to Susan G. Komen Colorado.

Bumble & Bumble will also donate $5 to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation for every Pret-a-powder sold (Clementine’s is a Bumble & Bumble exclusive salon).
