Spa & Wellness Client News
Summer is almost over and it’s time to embrace the cardigan. Welcome back shorter days, colorful leaves and crisp air. With the change in season should also come a change in routines. Think of this new season as a fresh start to your healthy and beautiful self. Check out some activities and indulgences that cannot be missed this fall.
SPENGA (spin, strength, yoga)
The groundbreaking concept in premium fitness is new to Denver and quickly gaining a loyal following. Each sixty-minute SPENGA session boosts endurance, strengthens muscles and restores the body with a combination of spin, high intensity interval strength training and yoga. It’s the perfect option for the health nut who doesn’t want to pay for three different memberships at three different fitness studios. Our favorite part? Workout monotony is nonexistent. Each class is divided into 20-minute sections and held in different rooms. Here’s to keeping our summer body!
Lash Boulevard
We have all drooled over those Instagram models with large fluttering lashes and a dewy facial glow. Thankfully, Colorado’s most respected lash extension expert and skincare specialist is opening a spa in the Denver Highlands. Karen Martiz and her team of certified estheticians will get you all of the above, plus some! (They also offer spray tanning, waxing and microblading.) In a hurry? The convenient location is one of the few Denver Highlands businesses with a parking lot. There is no need to circle the block three times before going in for that chemical peel.
Clementine’s Salon
New seasons bring new hair trends and this fall is no different. Thankfully, the educated stylists at Clementine’s continually attend classes in New York and Los Angeles to learn how to create and style each season’s most sought-after hair. Taking the place of the 2016 lob, the mid-length chop is just a little different. The cut adds layers to a mid-length style to create a beautifully tousled look. In the mood for bangs? The newest bang trend consists of fringe that hits just above the eye. These bangs are also incredibly versatile. You can sweep them to the side or pin them back.
Floyd’s 99 Barbershop
The Denver-based business has become the expert in men’s grooming, haircare and styling. After noticing a gap in the performance and quality of men’s grooming products, the modern barbershop was inspired to create their own high-performance product line. Featuring exclusive formulas created with an emphasis on quality ingredients, each of the products are DEA, sulfate and paraben-free. They’re perfect for creating this year’s most popular men’s styles like the mid fade, textured pompadour or deep side part. We also LOVE their signature black walnut and cedar fragrance.
